Ink wash painting builds its tones from a single ink diluted with water. Indigo Koi Flow follows that idea with koi turning through breaking waves, then adds a red sun and flecks of gold. Every edition below uses this one generated artwork.

Empty space is part of the picture

Ink painting treats unpainted paper as an active part of the image. The pale middle of this design plays that role, which is why its dates sit comfortably there on soft islands. A lower opacity keeps that open feeling, as long as the digits remain clear.

Paper tone and the red marks

The warm paper colour is printed as part of the image, so use bright white matte paper and avoid cream stock, which would tint it twice. The red blocks are decorative. They are not the seal of a real artist, and they carry no signature or meaning you should read into them.
