Procedural, AI background or AI full image: three ways to make a 2027 calendar
What each studio mode draws, where the dates come from, what it costs in credits and which file you get — so you can pick the right one.
If none of the finished calendars fits, the studio can make one for you. It offers three modes. They differ in one important way: who draws the dates.
All three use the same settings — any run of consecutive months in 2027, the calendar language, region, an optional second calendar shown under each Gregorian date, week start, weekday width, numerals, paper and orientation. The free preview and the text date proof update as you change them.
1. Procedural
- Art: drawn by our program, or an existing background template.
- Dates: typeset by the program from the date engine.
- Credits: none.
- File: SVG.
This is the mode for exact, repeatable calendars. Filling a template reuses an existing background, so no new AI image is made. Free templates can be filled right away; paid templates are bought once and can then be filled as often as you like, with free previews before you buy.
2. AI background + exact dates
- Art: an AI paints a background from your prompt, with space kept free for the calendar.
- Dates: typeset by the program, exactly as in the procedural mode.
- Credits: the cost is shown next to the button before you generate.
- File: SVG.
You get custom artwork while the months, weekdays and second-calendar labels stay computed and checkable.
3. AI full image
- Art and dates: the AI draws the whole calendar, dates and text included.
- Credits: the cost is shown before you generate.
- File: PNG.
The AI receives the same settings, but it may draw wrong dates, weekdays or text. Before any credits are used you must tick a confirmation yourself; it is never pre-selected, and it resets when you change the settings. Once an image is generated successfully, credits are not returned for content errors. The result keeps an "AI-drawn dates — not verified" label.
When something fails
A timeout, a provider error or a response without a valid image is a technical failure, not a content error, and the credits used for it are restored. Retrying the same request does not charge twice.
Which one should I use?
- You need dates you can rely on → procedural or AI background + exact dates.
- You want a unique painted look and will check the dates yourself → AI full image.
- You just want to print today → a finished calendar from the catalog, no studio needed.
