Pixel art calendar for 2027

A domed observatory stands on a waterfall cliff under a violet sunset in Pixel Mountain Observatory, the only artwork behind these editions. The scene is built from visible blocks of colour, in the spirit of early video game backdrops, with no game characters.

7 finished calendars, all using one original artwork: Pixel Mountain Observatory. They are editions of the same picture, with different dates or languages, and each listing says which it is.

Generated pixels are not a strict grid

Hand-placed pixel art follows an exact grid, and artists enlarge it by whole numbers to keep the squares crisp. This image is generated in that style, so the blocks may not line up perfectly when you look closely. It is best judged from normal viewing distance, not as a reference for pixel-perfect work.

Pairing chunky art with clean dates

The dates are set as smooth type, which contrasts with the blocky picture. That helps legibility, and a simple font keeps the contrast looking deliberate. At 16:9 the design works for a landscape print, and the darker lower half gives light numerals a calm area to sit on.
